The second installation of the series "sounds of silence" invites the visitor to enter another world via sound. A marimba player plays in the middle of an enormous mobile made of white balls which fill the entire room. The visitors lie or sit on various levels, immersed within the mobile. The placement of light creates moving shadows that fall on the surrounding walls like echos of the balls; as a result the room seems to lose its stability. The view into the seemingly never ending balls creates a multitude of associations that encourages reflection on oneself, on one's own internal images, and on one's own silence. Reflections under water, a carpet of stars, a car ride at night, a snow flurry, whatever the spectator chooses to discover.
