Determined you know the feeling: some things are too valuable for you, in order to finally throw it away, but at the same time you would no longer like to constantly have them around you, and not at all that somebody else sees it. Actually you would like to know it conserved at a safe place.

Sound 04 offers the participants to let something disappear in eternal silence.
Therefor they get a pneumatic dispatch capsule (length 37cm, diameter 10cm).
The participants get the cap in a prepaid package, addressed to a stranger somewhere in the world, together with a procedural instruction, a reply postcard and an adhesive. The cap can be filled by the participant at home with selected object/material/thought/words and is sealed afterwards with adhesive. Then it is to be send to the indicated address.
The receiver for his part takes over the honorable task and the associated responsibility as a "cap godfather" to let it disappear safely in eternal silence. How the person solves the task is up to him. He can bury it into an old pit in the cellar, or through it into a concrete, hide it in the forest or in the desert, no matter, whatever he thinks to be best. Only conditions are: 1.) the cap must be 'surely away ', without being destroyed and 2.) the person must take a photo or a small film from his action and post it to the sender. The participant gets like this a document about the place of residence of its cap and a souvenir in the same time.
